We became
Health Atlast Citrus with the merger of Mario A. Mendizabal, M.D, and Citrus
Chiropractic Group in 2015. Both of
these practices have been caring for patients in Citrus County for more than 35
years! We believe that the cooperation
of the medical and chiropractic professions in an inter-disciplinary practice allows
us to coordinate care and be more effective.
Therefore, accelerating the healing process and permitting a quicker
return to activities of daily living.

Medical Care
Dr.
Mendizabal provides medical primary care backed by 40 years of experience right
here in Citrus County. His focus is on
involving the patient in the process and prefers conservative care and
non-surgical solutions when possible. Our
medical staff provides traditional medical care and consults with you about the
addition of holistic options when appropriate.
Chiropractic Care
Drs. Ross
Dumbadse and Andrew Jones have provided chiropractic care in
Crystal River and Inverness for 60 years collectively. They have always provided cutting edge
technology such as Low Level Laser (Cold Laser), DRX 9000 Decompression for
lumbar and cervical disc problems, and
posture correction in addition to traditional chiropractic care. Our adjusting techniques include Palmer package, full spine diversified, Cox, Thompson drop table, SOT, Gonstead, Arthrostim, Vibrocussor and Activator. Massage therapy and acupuncture are also available to help address your healthcare needs.

We were
recently awarded a Durable Medical Equipment license through Medicare. This allows us to fit and provide a variety
of braces to our patients. Back braces
and knee braces etc. can keep people actively involved in their lifestyle and
help them avoid surgery.

County citizens. Altogether, the doctors
of Health Atlast Citrus have over 100 years of clinical care experience in Citrus
County! We have been involved in the
community for many years. We have
proudly served as team physicians for Crystal River High School for 10 years,
providing free care to all athletes and serving on the sidelines of all
football games. All proceeds of yearly
athletic physicals over that time have been donated back to the school. In addition, we instituted an internationally
recognized concussion protocol at CRHS that protects our athletes against
serious brain injuries.

We have two locations in Crystal River and Inverness and are
open 5 days a week and have evening hours to make ourselves available to
working people. When you are in pain, these things are extremely important.
